Summertime stores

Right to the point: in this summer you can buy my small paintings of home guardian spirits (kodinhenki in finnish) from Kankaisten tila, handicraft granary in Hämeenlinna, Finland (https://www.kankaistentila.fi)

Kodinhenki, home guardian spirit, is a part of Finnish mythology. It was believed that each and every building has its own spirit, a habitant who takes care of things going on in and around that building. If you treat that spirit well you will be successful and accidents stay away.

Handicraft granary features fares from several Finnish artisans and craftsmen. Participants and goods shift a bit from year to year. Earlier years there have been plushies, ceramics, toys, jewelry, brooms, baskets, beanies… The common thing is that all are made by Finnish artisans, nothing is imported from the other side of the world. And everything is new (of course some materials might be recycled), this is not a flea market.

Also, as sugar on the bottom: in Ekenäs, Finland you can find a little coffee shop, Kopp o Kanna, where you can find some of my crafts. Hand drawn bookmarks, small batches of prints… whatever fun things we figure people would need in their lives.

Disclaimer: No one has given me any money for this publication. Or drinks. I’m happy to receive money and drinks if you want to offer me some.
